Driver killed in high-speed crash on Houston’s Sam Houston Parkway, police say

An 18-year-old man believed to be the driver died after a single-vehicle crash around 3 a.m. near South Sam Houston Parkway West and South Post Oak Road when the car, reportedly traveling about 80 mph, struck a pole and ejected the driver.
