Runners take on rain at 19th Annual Runway 5K

Runners took off at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) during a very rainy Saturday morning for the 19th Annual Runway 5K. Since its inception in 2007, the event has welcomed more than 25,000 participants. This year’s race sold out in less than 15 minutes, drawing registrants from 25 states.
