Flooding from Hurricane Isaias prompts mountain trail rescues in Avery County

AVERY COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Leftovers from Hurricane Isaias brought heavy rain to the region Saturday evening, causing flooding throughout the North Carolina mountains. Later in the evening, the Linville-Central Rescue Squad received two different calls for hikers caught in the storm.
