Ventura County man convicted of violent assault on girlfriend

A Ventura County man was convicted of violently assaulting his girlfriend, along with several other criminal charges. Yanci Mcclay Dakin, 46, of Ventura, had committed the crimes while staying with his girlfriend from October 15-17, 2025, the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office said.
