A wind-driven brush fire is burning dangerously close to homes in Azusa Thursday afternoon, prompting mandatory evacuations. The Peak Fire was first reported in the area of N San Gabriel Canyon Road and N Ranch Road at about 1:09 p.m. and has grown to 20 acres as of 2 p.m.
