RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) -- With less than three weeks until the fall 2026 General Election, there are some key dates that potential voters should keep in mind. This election -- set for November 3 -- is called a "midterm" because it takes place midway through the term of the president, who was elected in 2024.
