Man sentenced to 200+ years to life for deadly 2018 Silver Lake Trader Joe's shooting

The man convicted in a deadly shooting at a Silver Lake Trader Joe's in 2018 has been sentenced to more than 200 years to life behind bars. Gene Atkins, 36, held 24 people hostage inside a store during a standoff with police.
