2 dead after crash involving Jeep, Ford Explorer on I-10 East Freeway in east Houston

Two people are dead after a major crash involving three vehicles, including one that caught fire, shut down all eastbound lanes of the I-10 East Freeway at Monmouth Drive, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
